A Tale of "Two Tails"...

Hello Lady Di and your 2 new babies...wish we could come in and meet you.  We heard that the 2 new little puppies are going to the Vet today to have their tails "docked"...hope you have a good time-wish we could go out on the boat with you. That is where you go when you're "docked" isn't it ???
Well---this must be the place !
Oh no, don't take my babies from me...!!
OK...they're back, but WHERE ARE THEIR TAILS ???
I've heard of "cat got your tongue" but not "cat got your tail" ?!? -- IS THAT WHERE THEY WENT ?
Thank goodness - let's leave this scary place and GO HOME !!

All's Well that Ends Well.............

But, OMG - it was a REALLY long night till we reached the finish line!!Poor Lady Di didn't have the easiest delivery ever.  Puppy #1 was born @ 10:45 p.m. Saturday night and that part was very normal (except for the fact that she's only been here 3 wks-just barely-and her previous owner didn't know she was 42 days into her pregnancy !???!) but after that first pup, things changed ...
Baby #1 --  Just Born !!

Clean up time...

"Nice to Meet you"
After this wonderful and amazing baby was born, things started to go downhill...because NOTHING HAPPENED and we knew there was one more baby waiting to be born ! SOOO...after waiting and waiting and waiting - we called and then went to the Emergency Animal Hospital where there was more (you guessed it) waiting. Finally the Vet told us the other pup had a BIG HEAD??? but to go home and give it FOUR MORE HOURS !!!

So we went back to the house and waited and waited and waited...Finally called back to Emergency Vet and she said to wait till morning and see our regular Vet for probable C-Section. We showed up to see our Vet at 8 am and were told that Dr. Sue wouldn't be coming in for another hour and she doesn't perform C-Sections-oy vey!  After much back and forth on the telephone with her, we were sent to another Vet's office...(Here we go again) Before they set up to do the operation, this new-very nice-Vet suggested we try to induce labor first and see if that would work.  Long story short---IT DID !!! HOORAY !!!

What are we doing here ???  TAKE ME HOME !!!

At long last...SUCCESS!
My Beautiful Babies :)

Feel like I've been through the wringer
BUT IT WAS WORTH IT...

News from the " 'HOOD"....

Well, we got news.  First of all, Human Mom traded our big sister biewer with some people from Blue
Diamond Yorkie Kennel for a grown-up female Yorkie. That's number one in the news. But next, and even more amazing, the human person she made the trade with, turned out to be the brother of the nice lady who bought our first two little sisters (small world, huh?)
So... Here she is --- the new member of the family. Her name is Diamond, but we're calling her Lady Di.

BUT - (and here's the biggest surprise of all) - she comes bearing gifts,so to speak, ...TWO OF THEM !
So now, all the household, is on standby for the delivery of these gifts !!
Oy Vey---this is so uncomfortable....
Maybe, if I lay on my side ???
Alright, already...let's see you find a good position with this little body and THAT MUCH BELLY!
