What we saw ......

When we go out exploring ... we have to search every thing we see. You never know when you might discover buried treasure (or a buried bone!)

We also  have to use our trusty noses ... we can smell so many things. You humans have NO idea how much we learn by smelling.

This is the bridge that goes over the stream that has a waterfall.  Human Mom is always telling us to stay away from the edge, so we don't fall in the water...

Some of the places we "explore" have such high grass...we think we are in the jungle !!

    Look .... you can hardly see Bonnie in the high grass and undergrowth......

 Here we are safe at home in our own backyard...Let's drink to that :-)

Some of the things we saw as we went on our car ride today were.........

Some kind of funny looking' bird...

a really nice little waterfall......

But this one's REALLY weird. We can't figure out whether there's 50 bats in there --  or maybe an owl -- or maybe ???? some terrible monster. We better move on boys !!!

Cute little puppies are sure growing up fast. We had a "weighing in" to see how much they had gained-but they sure didn't like that too much!

It's a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood......

So, we start the day with a gorgeous Mountain Morning :-)

Then, human Mom asks "Want to go for a ride?"  Of course - that's a silly question. We all hop in the car- ready for another adventure. Most days our "Mom" takes us up the mountain on a road where there are no houses...then lets us get out to run around for a while and smell all the intriguing smells that are up there!

We're ready...Let's GO !!

Back in the car for more exploring.....

Down the mountain we go...what will we find next ??

Shhh....I think she heard us !

That must be Bambi...what a pretty girl.

         But now, we're a little weary from our morning adventure, so it's time for a little morning nap !

Lovely-Cool-Mountain Air (Gives a Dog a Big Appetite!!!)......

Wow, were we happy to get back to our place in the mountains. We are very busy here...and we are very important. We have to go out on the deck and watch for Chipmunks-and keep the squirrels out of the bird feeders (of course, we scare the birds away too, but they always come back :-)

Miz Bonnie's been busy also...taking care of her babies.  It's really hard to believe they'll be two weeks old tomorrow. Wonder when they'll start playing with us? They are cute little boogers. Their hair is starting to grow longer and their eyes are open now.

Looks like some little puppies fell asleep on their way out of bed ...  HaHa

So when we got up here we had to go around and make sure all our beds and food bowls and toys were still here....They were- so we proceeded to get comfortable. Only one problem...poor Ramses can't jump up on the chairs and stuff like we can...boo-hoo.

Rats !  I'll never make it.

Aw, come on guys- give me a paw up !

Is it time to go to bed yet ?

So, being as it's a sleepy, rainy afternoon in the mountains-I think we'll stop for now...and take a little nap out on the screened porch. So long for now........

Bonnie's Puppies Are Here ♥ ♥ ♥

you sure had some pretty babies. Three perfect

little pups-two girls and a boy. We'll be happy when

they can come out and run and play with us. We miss

you too!  But you'll be able to come out with us

pretty soon !!

We're Back...Finally !!!

After many months of healing, Human Mom is finally up and about. Boy were we bored during the "stay in bed with the knee elevated" time...

We took a trip up to NC to our home in Sapphire-so that Mom could heal and do rehabilitation, by going up and down the stairs (with us :-) ) We love it up there. We run around in the yard and get to chase after chipmunks. So much fun. There is also a special "DogPark" that Mom takes us to and that's a lot of fun also. Everywhere we go in the town, people like to stop and pet us, so we like that also!!                                                                                                                          

WELL, WE HAD A WONDERFUL TIME WITH PLENTY OF R&R, BUT ALL TOO SOON, IT WAS TIME TO HEAD FOR HOME. ONE OF THE REASONS WAS THAT ROYAL AND BONNIE WERE EXPECTING PUPPIES--AND SOON!!!

WE'RE ON THE ROAD AGAIN...ORANGE PARK, HERE WE COME !!!
